Resumen
Cada paciente requiere una evaluación particular considerando criterios individuales de tipo clínicos y laboratoriales, así como epidemiológicos y sociales. Los protocolos chinos así lo expresaban: ¨el paciente ha tenido una respiración no alterada, conciencia clara, habla no afectada, dieta normal y temperatura corporal normal durante más de 3 días; las imágenes de pulmón muestran una mejora significativa;y dos pruebas consecutivas de ácido nucleico han sido negativas¨ (4). El seguimiento es mandatorio pues los pacientes que se han recuperado de COVID-19 pueden quedar con un daño permanente en sus pulmones, en específico con fibrosis pulmonar.
